Common Tax Deductions for Small Creative Businesses

  • Supplies used in your final product (ribbon, work forms, signs, etc)

  • Supplies used to help you make your final product (scissors, mat, glue, shelving, office supplies, tape, boxes etc)

  • Coaching groups or shop review services

  • Camera equipment used solely for business purposes (tripod, Mevo, etc)

  • Advertising on social media or elsewhere (Facebook Ads, Etsy promoted ads, etc)

  • Promotional materials (business cards, signs, etc)
